A set-up that works
- Make one product group per kind of item the box can hold, for example treats, cards and extras.
- Offer two or three pack sizes, such as a box of 3 and a box of 6.

- Turn on the app embed in your theme and publish: the box builder shows on the product page you choose.

Does the discount survive checkout?
Yes. A Shopify Function prices the box at checkout, so the price in the box builder is the price paid, with no code to type.
Can I limit what goes into a box?
Yes. A box is filled only from the product groups you pick, so a candle box only offers candles.
